キャメルの最高傑作。またキャメル出世作でもあります。
個人的にも音楽史上最高傑作と言っても過言ではないアルバムだと思っています。
コンセプトアルバムであり、もはや言い尽くされていることですが、Paul
Gallico原作の小説をモチーフに
作られた本作品は１曲目から最終曲までまさに非の打ち所のない名曲です。
ライブでも定番の「Rhayader goes to town」など、すばらしいとしか言いようがありません。
キャメルファンは当然ですが、全ての音楽ファンに聞いてもらいたいアルバムです。
ちなみに私は昔、車用の自分の選んだベストテープを作るときに最初と最後はこのアルバムで締めくくった
ものです。いまだに自分の聞いたアルバムの中で一番のお気に入りはと聞かれれば、このアルバムを
選ぶことでしょう。
