It was the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that brought the deepest sorrow to the
people.
As musicians, we were seeking what we could do to support the victims,
which resulted in organzing HARBORLAND BRASS(former Brass Ensemble '95) consisted
mainly of musicians living in Kobe.
Viewing our mission as giving a message of hope and peace of mind to our favorite
people and town of Kobe, and wishing the light of reconstruction and hope would shine,
the ensemble delivered a series of performances called Concert for encouragement:
Carried out "The Concert for Encouragement"@-- Smiles for Children --@
volunteer & charity projects at the devastated area.
