[ Sledding in the Fairyland ]

In the northern part of Kamchatka, the indigenous Koryak keep reindeer in pastureland in the traditional manner. I asked them to teach me traditional reindeer sledding. They control reindeer with reins and a whip. The sled easily turns over on a bumpy road. Though the temperature was 35 degrees below zero, I started to sweat on the forehead and the chest. The land of tundra was vast whiteness. It looked like a fairyland I had never seen in any theme parks. I felt like Santa Clause. I usually hope to reach the destination quickly. But this time, I didnŐt want to get off the sled and hoped this trip would never come to an end.
