Pen Name:ウィル・Ｆ・ジェンキンズ(Will F. Jenkins(William Fitzgerald Jenkins))
1940年代、1950年代を代表する作家のひとり。
気難しくなく、エンターテイメントに徹した作品が多い。
基本的にワン・アイデアであるが『青い世界の怪物』とか、『ガス状生物ギズモ』とか、なんとなく愛着の湧くのである。個人的には好き。
表記について、ほとんどの場合、ラインスター表記だけど、講談社文庫海外SF傑作選だけは、すべてレンスター表記になっている。より正確に表記をということだったのだけど…
