このひとも短編集が入手不可能になっている。どこぞで再刊してもらえないだろうか。どんな話しでもスマートさを感じられる珍しい作家。『ボロゴーヴはミムジィ』は表紙の新井苑子もぴったりはまっていて、最高の短編集。まとまる予定だったギャロウェイ・ギャラハーものも結局そのまま。ホグベン(Hogben)一家シリーズもてんでんばらばら。なんとかならないのかい。
「今、見ちゃいけない」「幽霊ステーション」「ハッピィ・エンド」「トォンキィ」「ヘンショーの吸血鬼」「ボロゴーヴはミムジィ」「うぬぼれロボット」「次元ロッカー」「トラブル・パイル」「こんなはずでは…」「黒い天使」「その名は悪魔」「住宅問題」あたりで傑作集を組んで欲しいなあ。
充分、いまでも通用するはずである。売れるかどうかは、知名度はないからね。なんとも言えないけど。宣伝次第であると思うが。
