Iceland is a small country located on the Arctic Circle in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Although we imagine a very cold country due to its name and high latitude,
the climate is rather mild due to the Gulf Stream.

The major industry is fishing. Also Iceland approves of whale fishing just as Japan does.
Recently, IT related industry is growing. Iceland is a developed nation as shown
by the GDP per population, which is always ranked in the top ten in the world.

As Iceland is located just below the Aurora Belt, we can see an aurora throughout the year except for summer because of the midnight sun.
In Scandinavia or Alaska, we must be prerard for severe coldness to observe an aurora. We don't have any pain in Iceland when we are waiting for the appearance of an aurora outside due to the relatively mild climate.
However, we may have a pain in our neck due to looking up in the sky, for a long time.
