Kochi & USJ, August 2001
I have visited my best friend Takako's granma
in Kochi.
Unfortuately, I missed to take a picture
of Takako's granma, but she was such a loverly
person!!!
I am sure to take one when next time I get
to visite her there.
Her old house in central Kochi city was very
nicely build and priserved, and this is what
is called an "old good Japanese".
We also visited USJ in Osaka, and was a great
fun!!!
Early Summer, 2001
Mid May to Early June is one of the best
and my favorite seasons among the year in
Japan.
Starting of March 1, I have started working
with a Swedish company called Ericsson, and some of the
pictures are from the Dragon Boat Race that
my team members have participated.
The team name was "Harold Bluetooth",
who was the King of Vikings.
Check out the pics for natural born vikings!
Petri & Hiroko-san no Kekkon Shiki!
May 2001
My best friends, Petri & Hiroko-san,
had their Japanese style wedding ceremony
on May 12th in a shrine in Hachioji, Tokyo.
Their family and close friends, including
myself, were invited to a party in one of
the
very Japanese style ryokan, Suiko en, in
Kawai, Okutama.
It was such a homy and confortable party
with a good laugh and sake from Sawanoi Sake Brewery.
Check out Petri & Hiroko-san's wedding
dress!!!
Winter 2000-2001 It was such a great opportunity to spend times with my good friends this winter. We have spent our Christmas time at British Hills in Shirakawa, seeing Kyogen which is the Japanese classical comedy, played by Motoya Izumi. Visiting Millenario, the lights designed by Italian light decorator, Valerio Festi, is now an annual event at the end of the year in Otemachi, Tokyo. On the New Year's day, we had a chance to go up in the north to Morioka, having Wanko-soba (a kind of competition of how many bowls of soba you can eat!) and hot spa...such a great trip in the snow!
Summer 2000 Those pictures are from when we had a chance to go to Ubara beach in Chiba prefecture: quiet white sand beach with clear water...very nice place just 2 hours off Tokyo.
Invisix Invisix is the company that I worked with from November 1999 for 13 months. I really had a great working environment and experience, working with a lot of good people and having good beers at TY Harbor Brewery in Tennoz Isle, which you can see in the picture!
