This web ring is aimed to link Japanese Dogs Lovers sites. This includes sites dedicated to the traditional Japanese dogs, breeders and exhibitors. To qualify to join the Japanese Dogs Lovers your site must fit into one of these categories. It must not contain (now or in the future) any adult or offensive material that would be unsuitable for family viewing. All sites will be regularly inspected to ensure that they continue to qualify for inclusion on this web ring. If you wish to submit an application for inclusion on the Japanese Dogs Lovers please go to the Yahoo and join this Ring. You will be forwarded a message informing you that you are "in the queue". Successful addition to the Japanese Dogs Lovers will require you to cut and paste the html fragment with your site ID, which I'll send you ,onto your homepage.

I hope you enjoy your trips around the Japanese Dog Lovers.

What exactly is a WebRing?

The whole idea of a WebRing is to provide another way of visiting many sites on the WWW. It basically gets rid of the need
to use Search Engines to find sites with similar themes or content. You can visit other sites in the WebRing of your interest
with just the click of a mouse button.

A WebRing consists of the following things:

  • A group of sites that have similar themes or content
  • These sites are "linked" or "connected" together in a Database, by means of a CGI (Common Gateway Interface) script,to form a circle
  • When you submit your site, the WebRing program assigns you a Site ID number which is your spot in the ring.
  • The CGI script allows the WebRing to be traveled by the following means:
    1. Go to the Next site in the WebRing
    2. Go to the Previous site in the WebRing
    3. Go to a Random site in the WebRing
    4. Choose a site in the List of All sites in the WebRing
  • Some rings are sorted by Site ID number, others are not. You will add a section of HTML code, known as HTMLfragment, on your page
  • that includes your Site ID number. When people click the Next, Previous, etc, links, the WebRing server looks at your Site ID number
  • and takes them to the linked site in the ring based upon your Site ID number.

This is a totally free and groovy service! For more details about WebRing, visit their site. WebRings can be a benefit to your page,
making it easier for people to find you, and linking your page to many others to make a sort of community among people (and dogs)
with common interests. Plus it's fun.
