	記事抜粋 The anime-music connection has even affected the career of a Japanese opera singer based in Germany. In 2003, baritone Toru Tanabe - a Yokohama native who lives in Berlin - recorded an album entitled Alte Und Neue Lieder Aus Japan (Old And New Songs From Japan), performed in German and Japanese. Tanabe also published a book comprising musical scores of the CD's song and explanatory material.	アニメと音楽の深い関わりは、ドイツ在住の日本人オペラ歌手のキャリアにも影響を及ぼした。 2003年、バリトン歌手の田辺とおる氏（横浜生まれ、在ベルリン）は「Alte Und Neue Lieder Aus Japan」(日本の昔の歌・今の歌）という題名のＣＤアルバムをドイツ語と日本語でレコーディングし、またこのＣＤに掲載されている歌の楽譜と解説を盛り込んだ曲集を出版した。
-------------------------------- 「ドイツでは誰も日本の愛唱歌や童謡を知らないのです」田辺氏はこう語る。「しかしながら、日本では誰でも日本語訳されたドイツの歌を学校で習います。この楽譜とＣＤに対して最も大きく反応したのはドイツのアニメコミュニティでした。というのも、彼らは"日本的"というだけでファンになってしまうからです。」 　曲集の出版後、田辺氏はドイツの様々なアニメコンベンションに招待され、歌っている。タキシード姿で歌い、ピアノが伴奏する彼の舞台は、通常アニメが歌われるＪ−Ｐｏｐとはちょっとした違いを出している。 　「コンサートでは、日本の童謡やオペラのレパートリー同様、アニメソングをドイツ語でクラシック風に歌います。」と田辺氏。「若い世代のドイツ人はオペラハウスに通いませんが、私という日本のオペラ歌手を通じて、ドイツのクラシックレパートリーを聴いているのです。彼らはクラシックは素晴らしい!と言っていますよ。」 　田辺氏は、最新のプロジェクトとしてアニメソングブック《ラクラクVol.1》を出版した。そこには日本のアニメのテーマソングをクラシック風にアレンジされた楽譜が掲載されている。氏は、近い将来これらの歌をレコーディングし、ＣＤを発行したいと願っている。	-------------------------------- "Nobody in German knew Japanese chidren's and folk songs," Tanabe says. "But in Japan, all of us learn German songs in Japanese translation in school. The best reaction to the book and the CD was from the German anime community, because they are automatically fans of anything Japanese." Tanabe has subsequently been invited to sing at several German anime conventions, where he perfomes in formal tux-and-tails, accompanied by a pianist. It makes for a bit of a change from the J-pop most commonly associated with anime. "During my concert, I sing anime songs in German, in classical style, as well as old Japanese song and operatric repertoire, " Tanabe says. "Young German people don't go to the opera house. But through me, a Japanese opera singer, they are now hearing German classical repertoire - and they are saying that classical music is fantastic !" Tanabe's latest project is the publication of a songbook [Raku Raku Vol 1], comprising scores of theme songs from Japanese anime shows arranged in classical style.
