As of October 1999, my 'fleet' of Olympus Pens
includes the Pen, Pen W, Pen D, Pen D3, Pen EES,
Pen EES2, Pen EE, Pen EE2, Pen EE3, Pen EM, Pen F
and most recent a Pen FT. With such a modest collection it seems a
little haughty to call this web page "The Olympus
Pen Gallery." But we all must start somewhere. As a 35mm full-frame user I never thought for
a moment that I could be charmed by the attractions
of the Pen. But when I discovered these half-frame
cameras I was 'hooked' by all they offered. Small,
lightweight, easy to slip into my pocket and
economical in terms of film and development it
saves my limited resources. Once convinced of the advantages, I set about
trying to convert my OM cameras to the half-frame
format. There were many periods of trial and error,
mostly error! |
