-Detail-
D.Zuiko 28 mm F3.5 Lens. This lens was designed
by Mr.Hayami and Mr. Maitani. It was based on the
Zeiss Tessar type lens. The performance of this
lens was grade down a little bit compare to Pen .
But the decision of fixed focus lens was very
important for Mr,Maitani to make a easy operating
camera. Mr,Maitani thought that the half frame
camera have a wider lens than full frame camera for
normal angle. So it will be have a deep range of
infocus. Selenium meter builted around the lens.
This style was named "Circle Eye" by Olympus.
