Several modifications were done on later version of XD.

• body: soft touch leather to hard touch leather
• 125 of speed dial: white to green like XD-s
• exposure compensation lever: out to in like XD-s
• exposure compensation lever: metal to plastic covered(longer to shorter)
• logo: old logo to current logo
• screw of self-timer lever; round hole to square hole like XD-s

Some of those modifications were also applied at repair or overhole time. So, it is difficult to determine the shipment year by appearance.
