This service gives hiragana and meaning in English for each word of the text you copy and paste.

- よみかたと えいごが わかります。It gives hiragana and meaning in English.

Notes: As Jim says, "it does NOT translates Japanese text; it simply identifies the words in the text and displays the translations of those words. The user is expected to know enough Japanese grammar to make sense of the results". Also beware vocabulary of the sistem dictionary is limited and it may give wrong hiragana and meaning: e.g. むろ in the image below should be しつ, means room.

This software is designed for native speaker children who have Japanese Windows. Once you install this software it converts kanji on a Web site to hiragana. The conversion can be specified for a grade (1 nen-sei, 2 nen-sei ... kookoo-sei) of kanji to be included.インターネットで学習しよう!

This site provides similar service as ひらがなナビィ, but it also works with an English-system computer with a Japanese capable browser and no need to install any additional software. You have to register to use this service but currently the top page and the registration page is only in (complicated) Japanese.See the sample image:
