言語学の推薦図書

いろいろな人がいろいろな意味で「言語学」という用語を使用しています。ここでは人間という種が生物学的に誰でもがもっている普遍的な言語能力を記述することを目的とする生成文法理論が使う「言語学」の基本図書を簡単に紹介します。人間の脳に実在する言語機能の特性を解明しようとする生成文法論という言語学理論の中にも「ミニマリズム」「LFG」「HPSG」「関係文法」「機能主義」等いろいろな理論があります。ここでは主に「ミニマリズム」と呼ばれる理論に関する参考図書をいくつか挙げておきます。言語学は日本語の文法、中国語の文法とか英語の文法というような個別言語の文法を分析するものではなく言語一般を分析対象とする学問です。ここで挙げてある参考図書は主に日本語に関するものですが、それらの理論は他の言語の分析にも役に立つものですし役立たなくては言語学理論とは呼べないものです。
