note

All ten J.League clubs are qualified for the competition.

In Preliminary Rounds, all teams play each other one time.
When regulation time of the match play fails to determine a winner, teams play a sudden-death (golden-goal) extra time. If the match is still undecided, the winning team is decided in a sudden-death penalty shoot-out.
Teams are allotted four points for a win, no points for a loss, and one point shall be awarded for every two goals in regulation time.
The ranking is determined as follows: 1) total of all points, 2) goal difference, 3) total of goals.

Points
  • 4: a Win
  • 0: a Loss

And one point shall be awarded for every two goals in regulation time.

The top four teams progress to Semi-finals.

Verdy as J.League Cup 1992 winner shall be eligible to play in Asian Club Championship 1993.

The scores of away matches in my documents are italic small violet numbers.
