JLSL expands, and four new teams (Nikko, Asahi Kokusai, Matsushita and Fujita Tendai) join in the league.
In the League, teams are allotted two points for a win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss.
The ranking is determined as follows: 1) total of all points, 2) goal difference, 3) total of goals.
Asahi Kokusai Bunnys changes the team name from ACC Bunnys which was sponsored by Asahi Kokusai Co.
Matsushita ladies SC changes the team name from Takatsuki Ladies FC which was sponsored by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
Fujita Tendai Mercury changes the team name from Tendai FC which was sponsored by Fujita Co.
Tasaki Shinju Co. purchase Tasaki Shinju Kobe FC which was its own sponsored team.
