Daevid AllenがSoftmachineを離れFranceに渡って現地調達（？）で作ったバンドがGongである。一説によるとDragの関係でイギリスに再入国出来なくなったからだとか？　AllenはもともとAusieですから、不良外国人だとして英国には入れなかったのかも。勿論このLPはGong1st Albumという事です。サイケでキャッチーなこのLPも買い！！

Gongを立ち上げたばかりの頃FranceのBYGレーベルからリリースされたLP。Gongの文字は見当たらないが音楽的にもGongと言ってもよい内容である。GongのメンバーとSoftsの盟友Robert Wyatt, Spooky Toothの主要人物Gary Wright, Stone The CrowsのSoulful女声歌手Maggie Bellなどが参加している。
