ORCHIDS:

Some species in Family Orchidaceae, which I'm trying to culture, are in Cattleya Alliance. Because most of them are living in simlar environment for some of Bromeliads.

I have interest for some species of Cattleya Alliance in Brazil. I'm trying some of Genera Cattleya (C.), Laelia (L.), Sophronitis (Soph.), and Brassavola (B.).

Following species are bloomed in my room without greenhouse.

CULTIVATING ENVIRONMENT

stack plants on stack

This is an example of environment for my orchids. The window is east side. And frosted glass is used.

All component of stack can let through air. Water is kept under this stack. Small air fan is used with timer controler. (Fan is not seen in this picture.)
