このアップデートパックでは，Delphi 5.0 製品リリースの
問題点が解決されています。


アップデートインストーラで行われること
=====================================================

アップデートの EXE ファイルは自己解凍/自動実行形式に
なっています。システムで Delphi 5 を実行中の場合は，
終了させてからアップデートプログラムを実行してくださ
い。

アップデートプログラムは，システムにインストールされ
ている Delphi のファイルを更新します。カスタムインス
トールを行って特定のファイルをインストールしていない
場合でも，アップデートプログラムによってそれらのファ
イルが Delphi ディレクトリに追加されます。このファイ
ルの最後に，インストールされる全ファイルの一覧があり
ます。


Windows 2000 チェック(デバッグ)ビルドへのインストール
=====================================================

この Delphi アップデートを Windows 2000 チェック(デ
バッグ)ビルドにインストールすると，インストール中に
Runtime Error 266 が発生します。その場合は，[OK] を
クリックしてインストールを続行してください。このエラ
ーメッセージが出ることによる障害は報告されていません。


注意点と情報
=====================================================

リモートデバッガ
----------------
borlndmm.dll は \bin にインストールされます。このファ
イルはリモートデバッグのために必要です。リモートデバ
ッグを使用する場合は，リモートマシンにも borlndmm.dll 
を配置しなければなりません。

注記: リモートデバッグは Enterprise 版でのみ利用でき
      ます。

DclAxServer50.bpl パッケージ
----------------------------
DclAxServer50.bpl パッケージを使用しているアプリケー
ションは，このアップデートパックをインストールした後
で再コンパイルしなければなりません。

Windows 2000 チェック(デバッグ)ビルド
-------------------------------------
このアップデートパックには，Windows 2000 のチェック
(デバッグ)ビルド用に配布する必要のある，更新された
パッケージが含まれています。

Office 2000 コンポーネント
--------------------------
Office 2000 コンポーネントパッケージをインストールす
る手順は次のとおりです。

1. [ファイル｜すべて閉じる] を選択します。

2. [コンポーネント｜パッケージのインストール] を選択
   します。

3. Office 97 コンポーネントとの名前の競合を回避する
   ために，DclAxServer50.bpl を削除します。

4. Office 2000 コンポーネントが含まれている
   Dcloffice2k50.bpl パッケージを追加します。

Windows 2000 の日付形式
-----------------------

Windows 2000 の短い日付形式は，Windows 98 での yy/m/d 
ではなく，yyyy/m/d です。年を 2 桁にしたい場合は，プ
ログラム内で ShortDateFormat 変数の設定を変更してくだ
さい。

また，Windows の短い日付形式は，コントロールパネルで 
[地域] を選択して変更することもできます。
