Day

Headquaters seen from F2B circle
The site of the championship had five circles. Each circle was beautifully constructed. There was enough space for spectators and supporting members. The ground was well maintained lawn and pretty flowers were planted. There was a huge tent where lunch and supper were served to participants. Unfortunately the weather condition was not good and ground became muddy.
Clouds were running fast and low with the strong wind blowing from left side. Weather changed rapidly. We had heavy rain, mist rain and sunshine. The temperature was always low and people wore winter cloths except Day 5.
Most of the time wind blew from large woods those were 30 meters away
from F2B circle. The woods made bad turbulance.
Team Japan. On first row from left to right are Shoichiro Nogome (competitor F2B), Aki (supporter), Sada Yoshimura (manager), Kotaro Miyauchi (supporter), and Kaz Minato (competitor F2B). On second row are Masaru Hiki (supporter), Mitsuru Yokoyama (competitor F2B), Akira Nakayama (competitor F2A), and Hiroyoshi Ohba (supporter, publisher of this page).
We stayed B&B style hotel in Jarny village. It was 30-minute-drive from the competition site. We rent two cars, white FIAT van and dark blue Alfa Romeo sedan.
