According to the report, W. R. Allen -"Horse breeding group of The Cambridge university" - presented to London royal association ,

The semen taken from another kind is artificially poured into the female dromedary , and the female guanaco. Only two in the 30 dromedaries were conceived, but the one miscarriaged, and the other was stillbirth. Six in the 9 guanaco became pregnant. Four guanacoo among those miscarriage, one guanaco delivered a stillborm baby. Then, "Rama" was born although it was premature deliverry from the 6th femal guanaco.
