[Comparison between Referrence and Measurement]

At first we capture the geometric data of the target by a 3D scanning system.
The program makes it possible for an each measured point to find the nearest referrence triange or the nearest area of the referrence surface together with each distance.
The another program changes measured points into triangle-mesh by connecting points with triangles.
A color map can be indicated on the triangle-mesh referring to each measured point.
This technology can be useful for wide range of industrial applications like comparing measured data with design.

Referrence surface and measured points are shown within NfDesign.
The central brown object is the referrence surface and the white points around are measured.

The referrence surface and the triangle-mesh on which a color map are indicated.
The color map here is an example and the calculation needs to be modified on each application.
