[Editing Enormous Polygon Data]

Measurement with X-ray CT and reconstruction are widely used in industrial field.
Usually reconstructed data is enormous and is hardly possible to input into 3D CAD systems.
NfDesign
has a function making it possible to decrease triangle number of polygon(s) with maintaining original shapes as much as possible.
The next is an explanation of process where 3,000,000 triangles are decreased to 300,000.
This process needed a PC with 1.5GB memory.
The original data is being supplied by Scientific Solution Group of Fujitsu Co., Ltd.
This data is an output of VOXELCON which is being jointly developed by Fujitsu and Quint(Quint Co.,Ltd).
