One of the important NfDesign function makes polygon(s) smooth without increasing number of polygon(s).
Another important function is to decrease polygon(s) number without changing shape(s) as much as possible.
The following are process samples to smoothen an area of polygon with these fnctions.

The next is a part of polygon generated by VOXELCON. The central waving area must be smoothened.

The area to be smoothened is being partially selected as indicated red.
The polygon indicated is a connected geometric entity consisting of many triangles.
Partial select is applied to select a part of connected entity.
Partially selected triangles number is 21,833.

The number of triangles was decreased to 5,001 trying not to change the shape as much as possible.

Partial select is being off.

The area is being smoothened with a function.
The boundary of processed and non-processed areas is being continuous.
