Bell Software Inc. is a leading software company developing and supporting 2D drawing CAD (BELL DESIGN series). Autofact Inc. is developing 3DCG/Modeler, and both companies are investigating [Flexible System consisting of 2D and 3D].
As a result, we announce a flexible and effective system for design of houses, office layout etc.
(Software Required)
2D CAD: Extended version of BELL DESIGN/Std or BELL DESIGN/Pro
3DCG/Modeler: Extended version of NfDesign, called BLDesign
(Process Outline)
1. The extended function of BELL DESIGN makes it available to select and define entities to convert into 3D objects, or to draw entities for 3D objects, referring to existing drawing.
2. Definitions for 3D (locations, heights, widths, colors, textures etc) are interactively set by using dialogues indicated.
3. 3D objects unable to define by drawings are defined for their file names and locations in dialogues. These files are made beforehand.
4. Finally BELL DESIGN outputs definition file and activates BLDesign.
5. BLDesign reads the definition file and generates 3D objects and/or arranges objects.

1. The next is a plan of a house with BLDESIGN. The extended function outputs definition file and activates BLDesign.
2. BLDesign converts definition file into 3D objects.
3. Other objects are additionally read into BLDesign by manual operations.
4. The next is a rendering image of the reception room by BLDesign after setting a perspective viewpoint and adding an area light.
5. The next is a rendering image of the Japanese room by BLDesign after setting a perspective viewpoint and adding an area light.
6. The next is a rendering image of the dining room by BLDesign after setting a perspective viewpoint and adding an area light.
7. The next is a rendering image of the bath room by BLDesign after setting a perspective viewpoint and adding an area light.
