I love red cars and motorcycle 4/4
Without saying current my own car is ALFA164.Basically
I don't like 4 doors sedan cars.I like 3 door coupe style.But ALFA 164 is
special for me.I love this styling although this is a sedan.I have upgraded
my own cars as my age as natural steps of human life.I have chosen cars
among only my favorite,so I love all of my own and owned cars very much.
Red color is symbolic color of ALFA,but most owner of ALFA164 chose other
colors such as black or blue because this is the flagship of ALFA for middle
age gentlemen.ALFA ROMEO also recommends other colors.Usualy red color is
not suitable to over 3,000cc displacement cars such as LEXUS LS400,MERCEDES,BMW
and LANCIA,but ALFA 164 accepts red color because of its beautiful styling.

I love red cars and motorcycle 3/4
Second my own car was the ST182CELICA GT-R
in black color.After considering which color I should choose
among red,red mica and metalic black,finally I chose BLACK METALIC because
the ST182 CELICA has a fat style body.My sister and cousin love CELICA too,they
once owned CELICA before.
Since TOYOTA exhibited first CELICA at TOKYO motor show,CELICA has been
TOYOTA's car styling image leader for over 30 years. So the styling is designed
very well as every owners must get to love it forever.All models of CELICA
has been keeping its original concept in its styling as identity as same
as ALFA ROMEO and LANCIA.
CELICA has been popular in USA more than Japan,especially this ST182 model
got a good sales result in US.Many ST182 CELICA can be seen in west-coast.
I spent the later half of 20's generation with this CELICA,and spent many
happy time and hard time with it.CELICA stays with me as a good memory.

I love red cars and motorcycle 2/4
Then I got TOYOTA COLLOLA LEVEN(AE86) when I was 23 years old.That was
my first own car.Without saying AE86 was very famous F/R drive car in Japan.I
loved this design and color in RED/BLACK very much!
Maybe you already notice,the front design and color of AE86 are similar
to ALFA 164.I love this style,so I got to love ALFA 164 when I saw it then
decided to buy it.

I love red cars and motorcycle 1/4
Most cars and motorcyles that I've gotten were and are red color except previous my own car of TOYOTA CELICA.I guess,when people change their car to new,most of them seldom choose same color,and enjoy various colors.Of course I consider which color I should choose when I change my own car,but finaliy I always choose red...
My first motorcycle was YAMAHA JOG in red.I got it when I was an university student(18 years ago).That was one kind of smallest motorcycle with 50cc 2 stroke engine,and was one of fastest Japanese scooter in history because the Speed Limtter(up to 60Km/h) has been installed in all scooters after this model.My JOG can run at over 80Km/h.
Then I got KAWASAKI Z400GP in red color when I was 20 years old.It was
a regendaly motorcycle series of "Z".I loved it and went to anywhere
with "Z".
The engine sound of "Z" was very cool and nice.Especially the
idling sound that was made by overlapped valve timing was unique.Recently
I noticed,the idling sound of "Z" was little similar to ALFA V6
engine,so maybe I love the sound of ALFA 164 too.The ALFA sound reminds
me of my youth.

Right-hand-drive164
Let me introduce inside of my 164.Mine is the Right-hand-drive.In Japan
cars must keep to the left side of the street same as England,so all Japanese
made cars are Right-hand-drive.But most of import cars are the Left-hand-drive
as their original country's regulation.And as well as other imported cars,most
of 164 in Japan are Left-hand-drive.Thus this model is rare model in Japan.Alfa
Romeo Japan co.,ltd once sold right-hand-drive 164 to apply to some Japanese
customers's request,but they stopped to sell this soon because most people
likes Left-hand-drive.Japanese people still believe that foreign cars are
better and more expensive than Japanese cars,then people who can buy imported
cars is a rich man.So the Left-hand-drive car is a symbol of rich men..
Designed well for Right-hand-drive?
Yes,the layout of the hand-brake,the position indicater of gearshift and
pedals are good.They were completely symmetrized or were moved from original
Left-hand-drive.Except the glove box and the center air-ducts,most parts
of dashboard were common.It's rational design.
Just one problem(but a small problem)
The switchs layout of Air-conditioner,trunk opnner and gas rid opnner on
the canter panel are not changed for Right-hand-drive.The switchs which
are used very frequently are put on left side,and LEDs on the buttons are
lacated on the right side,so I can't watch the LED for Rear-Defrogger from
right seat as below pictures.I guess,designers checked with the Left-hand-drive
model only,so they didn't notice.But it's a small problem.
