A Moral Sense of Kabuki Fans

Homosexuality isnft few and far between in Japanese history. There was a lot of episode about homosexuals of warrior class. It was the same as history of Kabuki. At the Edo period, Kabuki actors were selling their body to the ruling class people to get their support. Of course you know Kabuki doesnft have any actress, they all are men. And the ruling class people were men, too. It was a kind of rite of passage for Kabuki actors at the Edo period. So it isnft strange that there is the thief Ojo-Kichisa who is wearing womanfs clothes.

Ojo-Kichisa, Obo-Kichisa and Osho-Kichisa, all of them have the same name, Kichisa. And they all are thieves. Three Kchisa at Act-1, they each cut their arm to take blood in a cup, and they each drink it. They each drink it. It means that they swore themselves as brothers. The blood means spermatozoon. When spermatozoon is taken into someone's body it means to become pregnant. They all are men, so it means stricter and stronger relationship than to become pregnant. Of course to have sex doesnft mean everything. So the relationship that is without having actual sex is stronger than sexual relationship.

There is sexual relationship clearly between Obo-Kichisa and Ojo-Kichisa. Thus they have stronger relationship than another swore brothers. Obo-Kchisa loves Ojo-Kichisa, but it's not the reason that Ojo-Kichisa looks like a woman. Ojo-Kichisa loves Obo-Kichisa, but Ojo-Kichisa hasnft thought to want to become a woman for Obo-Kichisa. They both love each other, because they are manly enough to love. And it's not enough explanation about his transvestism that Ojo-Kichisa needs to disguise himself when he steals something. Ojo-Kichisa knows that womanfs clothes are suitable for him, so he does transvestism. Most Kabuki fans love Ojo-Kichisa, so it isnft wrong to say that they have been tolerant since long ago more than the Western world of these days. But they accept so strict conclusion of Osho-Kichisa.

Kabuki fans arenft tolerant enough to recognize incest. Juzaburo and Otose are twins, and they both are Osho-Kchisa's younger siblings. They love each other because they don't know they are twins. Their father Denkichi knew it but he has died. Osho-Kichisa is the only one who knew they were twins. Then he kills the twins. But finally Osho-Kichisa couldnft say to themselves that Juzaburo and Otose were twins. He might have been able to have forgotten about it, if he couldnft say it actually. Of course incest is one of the biggest taboo for human. If I thought there was no problem because they didnft know it, would I be indiscretion?

Incest is different problem from homosexuality. Homosexuality shouldn't be discriminated. I know that most Kabuki fans say they love Ojo-Kichisa, without understanding of homosexuality. But if they could be tolerant for Ojo-Kichisa, it wouldnft be difficult to accept the rights of homosexuals. Ifm not interested in who love each other. So it is fortunate to find a lover with irrelevant to one's sex.

I hope that everyone thinks so.
