SHChanger-Lite

SHChangerDA is a DA to switch quickly whether your private records are shown or hidden. It enables you to switch show/hide without launching the 'Security' application.

SHChangerDA is originally made by Mr. Hitoshi Yamakado. You can download it with the source code at his Ridin' High Software site. SHChanger-Lite is a variation of that. Thanks to generosity of Mr. Yamakado, I put it to the public here. For your information, Mr. Yamakado maintains the 'Mecca of DA' site, Cute & Funky DAs. It will be a great help who uses DAs.

SHChangerDA & SHChanger-Lite

Palm devices can lock some records not to be displayed, by assigning a owner-password and setting the records 'private.' This lock can be controlled on the built-in application "Security", but it is way much troublesome.

SHChangerDA resolve this problem. It enables to switch show/hide without launching "Security" and back. As this SHChangerDA's variation, SHChanger-Lite can switch show/hide a little bit fast.

Usage

If you want to hide your shown private records when you've unlocked the records, simply launch SHChanger-Lite. It hides the records, and automatically ends. You see only a flashing of LCD and it's done.

If you want to show the hidden records when you've locked the records, launching SHChanger-Lite shows the Password entry dialog. When you finished the correct password, it shows your private records automatically and exits.

Note

SHChanger-Lite may lower the level of security slightly. It reduces your operations to show the records, it also reduces someone else's operations to peep your records.

SHChangerDA and SHChanger-Lite are distinct, different programs for PalmOS, because they have different Creator IDs. So if you install SHChanger-Lite over SHChangerDA, it doesn't overwrite. For this reason, please make sure to delete the one when you install the other.
