Get Internet Explorer 5.5 and Internet Tools.
If you can't load MHT archives, your system needs an add-on component installed by Outlook Express 5. (cf. MS KB Q198061)
Or, screen shots are here: Screen Shots List.

After all SONY is world-famous... Even if they did it with their own risk, I think it is not a matter of what can be settled within themselves. It would be shameful for us to do things like that...?

Before 23/09/00 (JST), Walkman web site closed as under maintenance.
The file name "um" was abbreviated the phrase "under maintenance"? No, if anything, it's a sigh of SONY (perhaps ours).

On 25/09/00 14:55 PM,
Dear Mr. James Widegren, As a result of our investigation, we have found out that an outside designer employed by our subcontractor for producing our web site in question, used a part of your design by way of "Cut and Paste" from your web site. Although the subcontractor is responsible for such actions taken by the outside designer, we would like to express our sincere regret for failing to notice such fact before running the web site in question, that brought you inconvenience. Please be advised that we have taken this finding seriously and have decided to take the following measures. We will release on the top page of the "Walkman Web Site" a notice to the effect that our company acknowledge the above mentioned fact, and have closed the site with the subject part of the web site eliminated. We ask for your acceptance of our regret regarding this matter. Sincerely, ***************************** xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx SonyDrive Sect. Sony Marketing(Japan)Inc. *****************************
On 26/09/00 (JST), A notice was opened to the public: walkman.html
In Japanese version, it explains this matter as "転用" (*diversion), however, I think "盗用" (*pirate) is an appropriate word in this case. See a Japanese-language dictionary.

At the end of 10/00 (JST), SONY WALKMAN site was renewed.
