この作品は、２００７年３月にピアノ伴奏による作品として創作され、テューバ奏者、ピータ・ーリンク氏に捧げられました。２００８年２月に吹奏楽伴奏用に改作され、２００９年２月１日、栃木県足利市において初演されました。 　初演の演奏団体は足利市民吹奏楽団の皆さん、ソリストは、２００９年２月現在、仙台フィルハーモニーのメンバーとして活躍されているピーター・リンク氏、指揮は作曲者自身でした。 　作品は急緩急の非常に簡潔な作品ですが、独奏は高度な技術が要求されます。 　写真は、テューバ奏者のピーター・リンク氏です。 　楽屋でウォーミング・アップ中です。 This work was created as a work by piano accompaniment in March, 2007, and was dedicated to Mr. Pete Link (Tuba Soloist). Poem for Tuba was adaptation for band accompaniment in February, 2008, and it was premiered in Ashikaga-shi, Tochigi pref. on February 1, 2009. The premiere organization was the Ashikaga City Wind Orchestra, the soloist was Mr. Peter Link who is playing an active part as the Sendai philharmonic Orchestra's member as of 2009, and the conductor was the composer himself. Although the work is a very brief work, advanced technology is required for the solo. The photograph is a tuba player, Mr. Peter Link. He is warming up in a dressing room.

そして打ち上げでは...。 And, at the party after the concert ... 写真のごとく、テューバアンサンブルの演奏で盛り上がりました。 Like the photograph, it ran high by the performance of tuba ensemble.
